What changed in Mega Millions?

The current format uses five different white-ball numbers from 1 to 70 and a separate gold Mega Ball from 1 to 24. Older articles may still mention 25 Mega Balls; that was the former format. When comparing history, remember that rule changes can affect what an older result means.

Our builder uses the current range and keeps the white balls and Mega Ball distinct. Save an idea in My Desk, or use the official game’s own random-number generator if you simply want a random set. No selection method makes one valid combination more likely than another.

Will AI find a better Mega Millions pick?

AI can help check that a combination fits today’s rules, explain the published odds and compare your ideas with actual past draws. It cannot know future random numbers. A historical match is not a signal that your combination is more or less likely next time.

If you decide to play, visit the official lottery for current ticket cost, prize terms, sales deadlines, draw results and your jurisdiction’s rules.
